Belt and leadscrew modes stay separate; VREF math is advanced and not a driver default.

Send pitch, tooth count, microstep setting, and measured travel to the CNC retrofit vendor. Linear rail kits are quoted with carriage preload and lubrication intervals. Driver suppliers sell matched power supplies—include peak current from your cut, not only steps/mm. Field service for calibration runs hourly when gantry drift returns after crash.
